Scientist

Edward E. Fenimore is a retired scientist from Los Alamos National Laboratory who has done extensive work on the theory of gamma-ray instrumentation and worked on major astrophysical satellites involving gamma-ray instrumentation. He has published more than 300 scientific papers with more than 9,000 citations. These papers cover topics ranging from the solar wind, solar flares, gamma-ray imaging theory, gamma-ray burst observations, radiation transport in strong magnetic field, cosmology, pulse formation and photon-photon interactions in relativistic flows, instrumentation, neutron stars, galactic clusters, homeland security, image processing, and optical transients. He is the co-editor of two conference proceedings and the senior editor on another.
